"Bed had hair in it…so, that was gross. Great location at a good price. If I was 18 on spring break, I would have thought it was awesome. It’s old but reasonably maintained; decently clean. Location is the key…and cheap compared to everything else. If you don’t care about being in a….2 star(?)…then this is the place."

"They overbooked the hotel and sent us to another hotel for 1 of our nights. The staff refused to listen to you over the phone. They rather just cut you off while you’re talking in person and over the phone. Valet was the best thing far as staff goes! "

"We really loved our stay at The Tides. You can’t beat the location, walking right onto the beach, and every window has a view. Parking was easy. There are private chair rentals right in front of the hotel ($45/day for 2 chairs & an umbrella). Our room with 2 queen beds was amply big, as was the washroom. And a good gym too. We would definitely recommend."
