I'd rate this hotel 2 to 3 stars. My husband and I came to Baton Rouge to complete the Louisiana Marathon and there were so many hotels to choose from. However, I selected this hotel because we've had good experiences at other Hyatt hotels and I was expecting the same. One of the issues is that our comforter on our bed was a very dingy white color and it had what seemed to be old blood stains on it. Disgusting! That comforter should have been tossed out! Another thing was once we called for more towels during our stay and were told to come down and get them. Usually, at other hotel stays, someone would bring them up to their guests to make your stay more comfortable and convenient. They didn't seem to care to make your stay more pleasant. Another downside was not having a microwave in our room. Each time, we had to go on the 1st floor to warm up our food. We've even been to hotels where they would bring you a microwave to your room upon request. This hotel just didn't live up to our expectation of a Hyatt hotel.

The room was spacious and beautiful. We enjoyed the 2 beds and the large separated sitting area. We enjoyed the kitchen, but there was no dining table, just a huge empty space where the dining table could be. That's ok bc we were only there for one night. We enjoyed the separate sink from the water closet (toilet and tub/shower). Our only suggestion is that the shower head water pressure could have been stronger. Otherwise, we had a perfect stay with you. We did not partake of your breakfast, so I cannot comment but I did take a box of breakfast cereal and that was very nice of you to provide some portable items.
