Paid extra at check in for a pool access room, building 5. View was beautiful, ac worked perfectly however the rooms smell like there is mold/sewer at all times. Restaurant reservations were extremely limited, buffet is not open at all times so you are pretty much stuck with burgers at the bar. No beer in the rooms, no bottled water at the restaurants/buffet. We ended up catching a taxi and eating out most days. Also buying coronas bcs they are not included. No disco just shows which end at 10pm at which time the hotel is completely dead. The pool needs to be shut down for major renovations. Staff, as always, is wonderful and super accommodating, just tip them well and they’ll give you the world.

Las piscinas sucias, los restaurantes solo tienes derecho a 2 en toda una semana, el buffet tiene horarios muy restringidos y cuando cierran solo te queda el area de piscina con club sandwich y hamburger y la espera es de mas de una hora, la barra es igual para espera de alguna comida, de viernes a domingo llegan buses llenos de dominicanos las largas filas para el buffet horrible y se llevan toda la comida no llegas a alcanzar cosas.

The staff was amazing. The food was plentiful. Unless you are a VIP ... no room service. Our air conditioner had problems 3or 4 times within the week that we were there. Booking a cab through the hotel get you charged extra. High pressure sales pitch for VIP package promises lobster and steak... I wasn't presented those options. If I could have avoided the sales pitch my entire stay would have been better,

The stay was great. The beach amazing. And some of the staff where great. I think the property need a little bit of love and some repairs like the pool. The food was good but wasnt hot enough. The room need some cleaning and changes. But overall it was a good vacation.

The stay at Senator was not a pleaseant experience. In the room water was coming out of the shower. The water did not filter well. Room had a very heavy musty smell. Then, when switched rooms, water still came out of the shower. The toilet clugged. The safe's battery went low and shut off with our things in it. And last the bed legs are off or broken on the bottom of the bed. Food was ok, first day I got stomach pains from the food. Overall, not a pleasant experience.
