Cheap flights from Boise (BOI) to Portland (PDX)

Boise Air Term. (Gowen Fld) (BOI) is just three miles south of the city of Boise, Idaho and is a joint civil-military airport, accessible via Interstate Route 84. Flights usually last for one to two hours to Portland International (PDX), and upon arrival in Oregon, you will be on the southern shore of the Columbia River, with Interstate-205 providing the main transportation.

The International Rose Test Garden is located in Washington Park and is the oldest continuously operated rose test garden in the country. The Portland Japanese Garden includes three distinct gardens, the Flat Garden, the Sand and Stone Garden, and the Strolling Pond Garden, which together offer a very peaceful venue for visitors.

The Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association play their home games here in the Moda Center. The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry includes a U.S. submarine, a planetarium, a four-story movie screen and numerous educational hands-on displays. The Oregon Zoo is home to animals from all over the world, including the African savannah, the Amazon River Basin and the Arctic region.

June through September are the warmest months in Portland, with temperatures averaging in the 70s and 80s, while winter months are spared the coldest temperatures, averaging in the 40s. Rainfall in the Portland area is moderate to frequent from November right through May, but during June to September, it is much drier, with little precipitation.
