Madison Dane County Regional (MSN) is located six miles northeast of downtown Madison, Wisconsin and can easily be reached by Interstate 39, or highways 51, 151 and 113. Flight duration is five to six hours to Las Vegas Mccarran International (LAS), and upon arrival in Las Vegas, you will be able to use interstate routes 15 and 215, as well as Highway 95 to reach your hotel destination.

Attractions

The Las Vegas Strip is an attraction all by itself, featuring some of the most uniquely themed hotels in the world. For instance, the Luxor is shaped like a giant pyramid and has several Egyptian exhibits inside. The Fremont Street Experience has all of Fremont Street covered over by a canopy of lights, with great music playing each night as well as excellent shows.

The Las Vegas Art Museum displays many styles of artwork, including Southwestern art, and has the very different approach of exhibiting works from traveling artists. The Nevada Opera Theater performs some of the world's most beloved operas all year round, so chances are during your visit, a great opera will be performed on stage.

Hints and tips

During the June to September months, daily temperatures in Las Vegas exceed 90 degrees most of the time; but it is not usually humid. There is very little precipitation at any time of the year.
