Richmond International (Byrd Field) (RIC) is the busiest airport in central Virginia and is a joint civil-military airport, reachable via interstate routes 64 and 295, as well as highways 195 and 197. Flight duration is two to three hours to Miami International Airport (MIA), and upon arrival in Miami, you'll be near highways 826, 836 and 112, and Interstate Route 95 close by.

The Miami Dolphins, of the National Football League, play their home games at Sun Life Stadium, and the Florida Marlins of Major League Baseball play their home games at Marlins Park. Hints and tips

During the traditional winter months, Miami might dip as low as 50 degrees Fahrenheit, but seldom lower than that, and in the summer months, it routinely reaches 90 degrees or more, with high humidity. The city is subject to abundant rainfall, much of which occurs between May and October.
