The white sands of the Fort Lauderdale Beach beckon visitors, with a relaxing atmosphere and a casual boardwalk to enjoy. Las Olas Boulevard is a great place to check out some of the luxury items offered in the area. After wandering the streets, consider taking a break at the Stranhan House, located right off Las Olas Boulevard. This is considered the oldest residence in the city of Fort Lauderdale, and tours offer a unique perspective on the history of the area. For a completely different look at the area, check out Sawgrass Recreation Park. An airboat tour brings you near the plant and animal life that calls Fort Lauderdale home.
