Cheap flights from Boston to Manila
Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is located just east from the city's downtown and is easily reached by car, taxi or public transport. Flight duration is over 17 hours to Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL).
MNL is about eight miles due south from the capital down the South Luzon Expressway if you're planning to rent a car. Otherwise, take a taxi to your final destination within the city.
Attractions and Tips
One of Manila's many highlights is walking through the Intramuros, the old Spanish walled city and letting the European vibes soak in. Almost all the buildings in this quarter date back to the 16th century and have been very well preserved.
Monuments of particular note are the San Agustin Church and Museum and Fort Santiago, one of the most well preserved of its kind in Asia. For shoppers, there's the Robinson Place Mall, a truly huge center with more shops than you can imagine. Manila has a lively nightlife and excellent restaurants, so visitors will be going into the early hours of the morning!
Manila's weather is quite humid, and its summers are hot and the winters are cool. Visitors don't need to worry about bringing winter clothes; however, rain gear is probably a good idea. The city's hotels are mostly found in the city's downtown area.
