About Utah Jazz

Despite a terribly disappointing start after moving from New Orleans to Salt Lake City in 1979 that saw no playoff appearances for five straight years, the Jazz didn't miss the playoffs for the next fifteen years, thanks largely to the efforts of one of the most fascinating and dominant duos in NBA history.

In the late 80s, undersized point guard John Stockton and forceful forward Karl Malone became a force to be reckoned with as "Stockton to Malone!" became an oft-heard exclamation of sports announcers everywhere. Karl Malone went on to score more points in his career than any player in the history of the league, thanks in part to assist-machine John Stockton, who currently holds two of the most unbeatable records in the NBA. Stockton has both the most assists and the most steals in the history of the NBA— and it's not close.

Despite the duos dominance, bad luck kept them from an NBA championship during the duo's otherwise successful career under head coach Jerry Sloan despite two conference titles.

The Utah Jazz carry a storied history and a bright future as an influx of young players have spurred a renewed excitement in the team. Don't miss your chance to watch this historic franchise go up against the competition— buy cheap tickets while they last!
