About Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers, also known as the Cavs, are an American basketball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. They began playing as an expansion team in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Eastern Conference Central Division in 1970. With a long list of playoff appearances and various conference and division titles under their belt, the Cavaliers are always a leading contender for the NBA championships.

The team plays at the Quicken Loans Arena, nicknamed "The Q" by fans, in downtown Ohio. Opened in 1994, the venue is also home to the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League and the Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League. The spacious arena is the third-largest in the NBA and fits over 20,000 fans, making it easy to find cheap Cleveland Cavaliers tickets.

While the Cavs don't have one major rival, they are known for engaging in heavy competition with a few teams in particular. The Wizards are one of the team's major adversaries, having faced off in the playoffs for three seasons in a row and gone head to head more times than any other team in the NBA during the last seven seasons.

The Cavs and the Pistons also have a rivalry going on, which peaked when they played each other in the playoffs in the mid-2000s. The Bulls are another team that's known to challenge the Cavs when they face off, filling The Q with excited fans. Each season, the Cavs play many rivalry games that increase the number of basketball enthusiasts looking to find cheap tickets to a Cavs game.

The Cavs have a rich history of NBA stars, including All-Stars Austin Carr, Mark Price, Brad Daugherty, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Shaquille O'Neal, Nate Thurmond and Walt "Clyde" Frazier. After the Cavs picked up basketball legend LeBron James in the 2003 NBA Draft, the team made it to the Eastern Conference Finals. Other current star players include power forward Kevin Love and point guard Mo Williams who have dominated the court since they joined the Cavs. The team also recently signed point guard Kyrie Irving, who had an impressive average team-high of 20.8 points per game for the 2013-2014 season and ranks second among all qualified NBA point guards. With such an impressive team ready to go, Cleveland Cavalier tickets are set to sell out quickly.

The Cavs have won four Central Division championships (1976, 2009, 2010 and 2015) and two Eastern Conference championships (2007 and 2015). Now fans anxiously await to see if the Cavs can pull off their first ever NBA championship victory. Don't miss an important game this season!
