Early Life and Career

Tyler Childers was born on June 21, 1991 in Kentucky. Growing up he learned how to sing by partaking in his local church choir. As a young teenager he began to learn how to not only play the guitar, but he also began writing his own original songs. Childers would go on to attend college after graduating high school, but ultimately dropped out to pursue his career in music. When he was just a teenager he began to perform in Lexington and Huntington, and he released his first album at the age of 19. The album Bottles and Bibles garnered some success, but it was not until the release of his second album Purgatory that he would receive national recognition. The album debuted at the number one spot on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and peaked at number 17 on the Country Albums chart. Childers released his third studio album in the late summer of 2019. The album entitled Country Squire was home to the leading single “House Fire” which was released in May of 2019.

Tour

After streaming millions of listens on Spotify, Tyler Childers went on tour and sold out venues all over the world. His Country Squire Run Tour kicked off in May in Knoxville at the Rhythm N’ Blooms Festival and wrapped up in December in Atlanta at The Tabernacle. The tour made its way throughout the United States and Canada with stops in Vancouver, Detroit, Austin, Brooklyn, Boston and Los Angeles. Along the way appearances were made by John Prine, Robert Earl Keen, and Courtney Marie Andrews.
