"I didn’t like the heavy cigarette smell in the hotel room"

"I arrived on Saturday afternoon and went to the office to see if there was anything else to do for check in. They had already sent everything I need for my arrival. The guy at the counter was so nice as to give directions of where to go shopping. I enjoyed walking in the Cotton District. Grabbing a beer and appetizer from The Landing (more restaurants would join on Expedia). Back to the motel to rest before attending my son’s play at State. After the play, I arrived back at the room to the serenity of silence. Had a nap cap and then off to sleep. The bedding was great and the mattress was better than the Marriott I stayed in last weekend. They were reasonably priced and parking was at my door. Loved every minute of it. When I am back in Starkville this is where I’ll be staying. Save me a room! "

"Had a reservation, it was the night of a concert so it was late when I arrived. 1:30 in the morning I was told that I didn’t have a room, they were full. Every hotel there was full so here I am at 2 in the morning with a 12 year old, dog tired with no where to go. I ended up having to drive through rain and fog tired for 3 hours home and didn’t get home till 5:30. Worst experience you could imagine, terrible way to run a business. When you make a reservation 2 weeks in advance and they just give it away, I could just understand. The general manager was supposed to reach out after I left my information and not a call or a text. This is not the way you treat customers."

"Breakfast offered a good if not great selection. AC worked but was a bit noisy when operating so turned it off when sleeping. These type of room units are common and they all are noisy so this hotel was not that unusual in that regard. Room had basic amenities and bathroom was clean but pretty basic as well."

"The bathroom floor looked like the corners had never been cleaned. There was graffiti on the door molding. The shower had white tape on the bottom covering a hole about the size of a basketball. The reception area smelled like weed. It was awful!"
