Very nice, convenient location. Very near the river and just a short walk to Idlewild Park. A quick shot from the house to most anywhere in the city proper. The house is spacious and clean, the bed comfortable, and with all needed accommodations. Spacious living room and large TV. The fenced backyard provides a pleasant evening relaxing space. Overall, a very pleasing experience.

Charming and impeccably maintained!

This house was everything the listing says and then it has all the charm that can’t be put into words. My family of 5 were really comfortable and made use of all the amenities (fully equipped kitchen and laundry). The area is also very dog friendly, we went on nice walks along the river that’s right by the house. It seems like a safe neighborhood as well. Communication with the hosts was great, they were very responsive and accommodating. Look forward to staying here again!

We have stayed here twice now, both stays over 2 weeks. This is a vintage home, with some quirky aspects, but with modern conveniences where it counts. Lots of the original architectural features are retained, which gives it a lot of charm. Decently furnished kitchen. Nice little office area. Good parking (but access front or back is via several stairs - steep in back - so not for those with mobility issues) Nice sitting areas in back and on the front porch. Bedrooms are pretty quiet; one bed is memory foam. The location is great, especially for walkers or runners, with Wingfield Park extremely close by; and everything downtown is also very walkable. All in all, a good value and a unique, well located place to stay when exploring the Reno area. We would stay here again.

Lovely and spacious older house conveniently located

Beautifully furnished, very comfortable, spacious home with antiques including several Tiffany lamps. One-block walk to riverside trail that leads to downtown, outside of city, and to big park with community events and farmers market. Appreciate the natural cleaning supplies and toiletries. Large bright kitchen and natural lighting in most rooms. Easy to access major roads and highways. No mountain view but very easy to get to trails and mountains- pleasant front and back yards.

Keystone Vintage Home

Loved this quaint vintage home! We were visiting for a family funeral. It was such a nice place to come back to at the end of each emotional day. Even with busy streets nearby you didn’t really notice the traffic. The home is close to the Truckee River which has a beautiful shady walking path next to it. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Would book it again. Especially enjoyed the two little squirrels in the backyard.

Cute Home

This is a cute property close to so much. A short walk to the river walk. Downtown is just a little further. Easy to get on and off the freeway. The neighborhood is a bit sketch, but I felt safe. The house is old and nicely renovated. The house is clean and the beds are comfortable. There is not a quite place to sit outside. The front porch is inviting, but right on a busy highway.

This is an older home with some cosmetic updates and architectural charm, and a nice garden, conveniently located near the river. While we appreciated that it was dog-friendly, the gate in the back yard has quite a large gap between it and the ground, so we didn’t feel like we could leave our dogs in the yard without risking an escape. In addition, while the cabinets have been painted and there have been some updates, it does show it’s age. The kitchen and baths have a mish-mash of older towels, dishes, incomplete kitchen tools (there was only one measuring spoon we could find), and unusual decorations like a clear blue plastic head. The major issue we had though was when our daughter broke a cheap decorative plastic bowl, I offered to pay for it, but the host first said it was no problem, then later said the owners wanted the “replacement cost”—which wouldn’t have been an issue if they asked us for what it was actually worth/cost. Instead they asked for what a new bowl from a high-end kitchen store would cost—many times what I discovered it actually cost when I did an image search, and found it was an extremely cheap item originally sold only at discount stores. I asked if they were sure that was the amount they wanted and was assured they did, and only when I reminded them that I would be leaving a review did they change their minds. This interaction left a very bad taste in my mouth, and I felt as if they were trying to take advantage of us.

Weekend Wedding Stay

My sister and I stayed in this Riverside bungalow to attend wedding festivities for a niece. The property is very well maintained and well appointed for a super comfortable stay! The house really had everything we needed including more than basic cooking supplies. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings historically and aesthetically appropriate for a 1920s bungalow. The house is steps from the Downtown Reno Riverwalk that is bustling with activity and beautiful. Idlewild Park and downtown are both within walking distance on the Riverwalk. There is also a fine French restaurant, a hip coffee shop, a wine bar, and a chocolate shop all with 3 blocks! Patrick and Nela were proactive and very responsive communicators and genuinely care about their guests. Highly recommend this stay!!
