"rarely leave negative reviews, but the food at this hotel was completely unacceptable. Lunch and dinner were extremely disappointing every single day. The buffet had very little variety and often looked half empty, with multiple trays left unfilled. The options were repetitive and limited—basically just chicken and fish every day, with no effort to offer anything different. Desserts were even worse. There was usually only one option, and it was low quality. The “ice cream” was a flavorless frozen machine product that didn’t taste like anything. For a hotel of this level, this is simply not acceptable. Food is a major part of the experience, and they failed badly in this area. Everything else at the hotel was decent, but the dining situation alone would make me not return and not recommend it."

"Our stay was excellent. The room had all that we needed. It was quiet and comfortable. Our housekeeper, Carmen, did a wonderful job. She got us a few extras that we requested. The breakfast was very good, with interesting Mexican themed choices. The breakfast staff were very friendly as well. We requested late check-out, and it was absolutely fine with the front desk staff. I would definitely recommend this Homewood Suites! "

"The most disgusting hotel I have ever been to. There were uncovered electrical wires in the hallways. There was MOLD in the bathroom ceilings, the carpet was wet, the beds were wet. Rusty fire sprinklers. I will be reaching out the health department of Martin county for an inspection to be done in the building as I don't think it's safe for anyone to sleep in that hotel.
