"This property is very high tech, with a pre-registration that is most complete I've seen. At first it put me off - but don't let it do that. It speeds check-in, and you will have a human contact at the hotel. I arrived in an area of Seattle where I've never been, after dark, in the rain. So I had a bit of a struggle to identify many of the review elements. But I quickly recognized that the property was very, very clean. Towels were new and fluffy. The bedding is an extreme effort at comfort that took me a while to understand - but again, don't let that put you off. It's different, but turns out to be good. Free beer or soft drink on arrival. Easy access to ice. Could walk to a good dinner after the rain let up. Nice part of Seattle actually. On-site parking for $20 was good parking. For what I would call a "budget hotel" this was definitely a 5 star. The a/c was less than fantastic. So could be problematic on the occasionally hot summer day. And I personally still like a bar of soap and a bottle of shampoo - while University Inn offers neither, instead opting for dispensers in the shower and at the lavatory. Not my preference. But things were super clean. And desk folks were certainly friendly enough."

"I was skeptical, specially when i saw it looked like a motel but was quickly impressed. Staff was so nice and welcoming, the grounds were clean and rooms spotless. Simple rooms but floors are vynil and had no dirt walking barefoot, rooms have what you need. "
