The first room we were booked in, was freezing and the heater didn't work. The staff moved us, and then we were put in a room so cold and smelled so bad of cigarettes, there was mold in the shower (lack of ventilation in the room) and we couldn't get the smell out of the room. It smelled old, and mildewy.

The shower was not working when I tried to turn it. The walls are so sensitive that I can hear people through it during quiet hours. The refrigerator was too small to put things.

The bathrooms and showers use Dove soaps and shampoos. We never use Dove. It leaves a slippery film on the bathtub floor, endangering anyone showering. For those of us who have become skin intolerant of creams, Dove doesn’t rinse off. Luckily we had our own soap. Breakfasts were pretty good, the dining area was bigger than most hotels. The tv in the first morning was tuned to Fox, a political channel. Someone with better sense had it on a local affiliate on the second, third and fourth mornings.
