"Low cost old-school style motel on the interstate. But, having said that, the room was excellent, clean and comfortable. Staff was outstanding. This was an overnight stay while traveling. Not something id recommend as a vacation, but perfect for a few nights as one explores St Augustine. "

"First off let me preface this review by saying we had a great time. The property was fantastic, the food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The thing I was not happy about was the beach was closed. Now I understand that they are trying to reclaim the beach because of the hurricane but this should have been noted on the website that there is a possibility the beach would be closed. They tried their best with providing a shuttle but who wants to do that? On the website they only stated there would be construction and some noise but nothing on there that states the beach can possibly be closed so you will need to be shuttled back and forth to another area and you need to pay for your umbrellas, etc. Needless to say, I probably would have considered another property if we were forewarned. We mostly just stayed by the pool and listened to the bulldozers working all day. No biggie, we had fun either way!"
