"When I approached the bathroom, I noticed a smell. I thought my fiancé used the facilities but it turns out the smell never left. The odor was sewage vapors coming from the bottom of the toilet. There’s was also sewage water coming out of the bottom of the toilet that we unfortunately had walked through. Our socks were soaked with toilet water. My fiancé had to sleep with shoes on so he would not slip on the toilet water when he got up in the late hours to urinate. I tried to bring the situation to their attention and was told at one point there were no other rooms. Later I complained again and was treated as if it was our fault for not complaining sooner. We would like to know why we were charged for a stay in conditions that were dangerous to our health and safety. One of us could have fallen off the unsteady toilet onto a floor that was covered in sewerage water."
