The staff is ALWAYS amazing!! We upgraded to a suite and was met with 7a.m. construction (video and sound with time stamps) on Friday morning. Then 9 am on Saturday morning! No warning! Only "I'm sorry. We didn't think they would start that early"! WHAT!!!??? When were we going to know about ANY construction over our heads!? Not cool Gansevoort management...

The room had a lovely view on the 7th floor and the various amenities in the room - the great snacks, the soft lighting - were very nice. I had thought I reserved a dual queen room but the food out sofa bed was comfortable. The housekeeping staff was very responsive as were all the staff. We would definitely stay again!
