Do not expect a Hilton experience
I had a terrible check-in experience with a beeping alarm sound that did not let me sleep. I later was moved to a room with a dead and living roach, after which I was asked to move back to room number 1. I could live with a sound but not with a roaming pest around. On day 2, I was moved to a higher floor and decent room. I was told I could not change again (not that I needed to), as if the first two choices were my fault! On the last day, electricity was shut off but obviously not the hotel's fault, so elevators were off and the 25 floor down/up commute was not very fun. Overall, I chose the hotel for its price, but its location is not the best and neither is the price. You get what you pay for. I had stayed at a Hilton in midtown a couple weeks prior and you cannot even compare both. Even if it is marketed as a hotel by Hilton, there is no way the experience you have at this hotel is a Hilton experience. I remember on check out the lady was looking at me with the most uninterested look when I asked a simple question about my card. The staff seems to be unhappy about the long queues. Hotels are all about the experience and service. Your check in staff should be inspired by your staff attending the bags. Although their job is also very demanding, they are always smiling and welcoming and warm.
