Won’t Be Back

Elevators are horrible, lobby feels dirty. Furniture in rooms is beat up and worn. Carpet throughout is stained and or bleached. Area around the hotel is filthy and you have to step over homeless while walking from Times Square. Hard pass on the hotel, especially with rates closer to $400 a night.

When you think of Hilton and 4 star in the UK or Europe it's exactly that. This hotel I would say for the brand name is sub par - maybe 3 star tops. The rooms are clean and comfortable but small. It's not a bad hotel, just not what you expect for a Hilton

Fun birthday trip

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Family of 3. The room/beds felt smaller than other hotels we’ve stayed in. For our family of 3 it was fine. Room didn’t have a mini fridge. Elevators at night took forever it’s 4 small elevators and at night it always seem to only be two operating. Location is busy and walking distance to time square. Staff was great from the moment we checked in they were nothing but accommodating. We mentioned at check in that it was a bday trip for our 12 yr old son and by the time we got our room keys they had decorated the beds and left snacks for us.

Didn't get warm chocolate chip cookies that Double tree is known for, did get bottled water. Units very small.one elevator always seemed to be down for other than guest uses, causing long wait times for the other elevators.
