The room was very clean and smelled nice. We enjoyed it! The street was a bit loud at night but that was all. Would stay here again, and the price isn't bad at all.

The room was on besides the last day we stayed there or room got flooded. It was reading alot at night and we woke up to a flooded floor. Apparently they have had this issue before and have not fixed the issue with the water coming up threw the floor. Our shoes and clothes got all wet. Manager had nothing to say but sorry.

I have been staying here for several years. It is an affordable stay in Monterey. Very clean and in walking distance to Monterey downtown. The sraff is very friendly. I have witnessed many improvements over the years in the rooms and the staff.

The cleaning ladies were wonderful, room was very clean. Upon arrival, I rang the bell once as nobody was at the front desk. A man came to the front and was annoyed and said the clerk would be back in 10 min. No sign was posted until after I rang the bell. Also, the elevator was in a terrible state, and what bothered me the most, were the square shaped pillows on the bed. Made sleeping so uncomfortable and woke up with a terrible back ache due to this.

You can hear every foot step up above. The neighbors door makes noise every time they open it. I had to kill a bug crawling on the bed. There were lots of white towels on the walk way.
