Paul the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming of us and our dog! The beds were comfortable and room was clean with the exception of hair found on the wall of the shower. The neighbor down the hall liked to keep late hours, and it sounded like not only several people in the room, but kids as well. They got a delivery (that sounded like food) at 11:15pm Friday night. The location was very convenient, and the room had everything we needed for a reasonable price.

Good location but AC wasn't working. I reported it but it wasn't fixed. It was warm, I was sweating at some point. Ended up opening the windows. Barely slept. Can't get comfortable.

The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The main problem was the noise from the other rooms. Unfortunately I could hear everything happening in all of the surrounding rooms. I would like to stay there again if sound proofing was done. As it is with the noise I cannot stay there and could not recommend anyone to stay unless they are hard of hearing.

We will definitely stay here again!

We will definitely stay here again. It is definitely one of the better hotels that we have stayed at during this six week trip. It has been recently updated and freshly painted. The room was very clean. The location is good and within walking distance to the mall.

The parking lot was a little tight, but that is the nature of parking in any coastal city. :) The staff at the front desk was very friendly and super nice. The property was very quiet and the room was nice and clean. Special touches made the room (which was pretty much a standard hotel room) feel fancy and made me, as a guest, feel special. :) (for example there was a toilet paper rose on the spare roll in the bathroom, and tissue fans in the tissue boxes, so I know great care was taken in preparing the room for my stay) I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Fisherman’s Cove Inn in Monterey! The location and parking were excellent, and the area felt very safe. The rooms were clean, and the service was great. It’s the perfect spot for exploring anywhere on the peninsula—from Monterey to Carmel and beyond. Highly recommend!

The hotel is not in go structural condition. Steps cracked. Stairs to 2nd level bldg not in goid structural condition. Staircase not clean, door to rooms did not open smoothly, the rooms are bare bones. The mgr/ owners do not comprehend English The rooms offer nothing, the floors are not clean, after taking a shower, my feet were not clean after walking on floor. Floor would be very cold winter. It is more like a $39 room Don’t advise to anyone

Friendly staff, great location

Lovely hotel in a great location. Some of the towels, although clean, you could see previous stains. Bed mattress was extremely soft, which was nice, until it became uncomfortable making staying asleep difficult, that would be the only negative. Shower was slow to drain.
