"Well, my room was #108. There was a lot of noise because I was over the restaurant. Like chairs dragging; loud talking. But, overall, the room was big and spacious with a large walk-in shower with a glass divider and good water pressure and plenty of hot water. I enjoyed the outdoor sitting areas, especially on the second floor where you could see Montego Bay. Doctor's Cave was across the street and I went to the beach everyday. There is plenty of seating areas with a large gazebo and beautifully landscaped. The Deja Resort felt like 'home'. I love the interior design. It is lush with beautiful plants inside and outside. And the waterfall in the restaurant was relaxing. Now the staff. The staff from the front desk to the servers to the housekeepers to the maintenance guy (shout-out to Denzel, Satir, Mayo, Shane, Andrew and Marie, Margie, and all the others who made me feel like family) are the most hospitable people I ever met. The food. Oh my word! The food was down home delicious. I'm a carnivore. And they had all my favorites, braised stew meat with bones (Houston markets I shop at does not sell stew meat with bones only boneless. Man, it was so good my utensils got in the way, and I started eating with my fingers. I had no shame. They served beef liver and one of my favorites, beef kidneys in a deep brown gravy for BREAKFAST. I was in heaven. They cooked what I love. I had a King size bed with clean smelling sheets. Big screen TV; fridge; iron kettle and teas and coffee "
