"Room was tidy and had a home-y feeling. However, I was unfortunately placed at a room near the freeway, and could hear cars roaming in and out during the night through the A/C vent system. Also, the hotel ADA entry door would have its motor rewind itself internally every now and then, making significant noise. Aside from that, this hotel is still a solid spot to stay at if you plan on staying in downtown San Diego."

"Overrated, they have a daily amenity fee that no one tells you about, I asked and they say they’re charging for the nesspreso machine and coffee and the gym. The staff is mainly rude. The location is great, it was overall clean and I liked the toiletries. You can do a much better hotel in San Diego for the same price."

I was sick and decided to spray and wipe everything down myself with disinfectant. This was my first and last Hard Rock Hotel I will stay at. $2,000 for 4 nights was uncalled for with the low level of cleanliness and quality of the room. "
