Filthy, tiny, expensive.

This hotel was very disappointing. From the old man that was there overnight (he seems not to care or that we bother him), a filthy, tiny room, and charges that weren't disclosed on Hotel.com. There are so many good hotels around this area, just look for something else. Big shout-out for the ladies who were there in the morning. They tried to make it right for everyone.

Great hotel and great location

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Great location for downtown San Diego. The area is a quieter part of downtown. However, it is a quick walk to the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, and the waterfront.

I won't be back.

Staff members were very friendly. The rooms leave something to be desired. The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets were a rough fabric. There wasn't a hand towel to dry hands, so we had to use the make up remove cloth. The volume on the television did not work. The parking lot is small. I have a disabled placard and the parking attendants were using the disabled spaces to park other guests. I wouldn't stay here again.

Expensive, small rooms and no privacy

Valet parking is $50 per day and $40 self parking per day. Rooms are tiny. Bathrooms have a transparent glass door so be ready to give a show to whoever you travel with. Looks a bit dated on the lobby and hallways. I bet there’s much better options for the price.
