Shortly after arriving in our room we discovered the carpet was wet in an area in front of the a/c unit. About a 5’ x5’ area was wet. Not a small leak. We called the front desk and they didn’t seem too concerned. We had to ask to be relocated. They said there wasn’t another room available yet and when one was clean they would call us. We said we would hang out and wait. 2.5 hours later we called the desk. Not surprised, they had a room for us. They never called and they never sent anyone to investigate the leak. I was blown away by that. After all leaks are serious and can cause all kinds of problems , including mildew. When we moved they did not offer to help. Just told us to come down and pick up a new room key. When we got to our new room, we tried to call out and the phone did not work. We went down to the desk and told them about it they said they would look into it. Three days later the phone was never looked at and was dead when we checked out. All the time none of the desk staff smiled were nice to really actually acted like they cared about our stay. Poorly trained most likely. The aid staff were very cordial, obviously better trained.

It’s been better.

Hotel is in a great location. Check in was a bit long, Took more than 20 minutes with only 3 guest ahead of us. When the line became 8 deep, finally called another associate out to help. Room was clean, but tack strip going into bathroom was worn and I stepped on it with my bare feet. Lucky it didn’t puncture the skin. Neighbors on balcony smoking and loud, late in the evening and very early in the morning. Could not enjoy even opening the door for some fresh air. The price of parking is a bit ridiculous. Check out was easy. Hotel lobby was clean and always saw someone with a broom or mop tending to it.
