Our suite was beautiful and spacious. We hosted our friends in it every day and there was so much space. The decor is so festive and fun. The staff was very helpful and the valet guys were helpful. We had a nice time. Feedback: The shower water was not hot, and the shower leaked water all over the floor every time someone showered. Full length mirrors or more mirrors would be nice for multiple people being able to get ready at once. There were randoms wandering the floors and all restaurants and bars were packed with outsiders. It would be nice to have security by the stairs. And limit the number of outsiders because the people who pay to stay were having to leave the premise to get food/drinks.

Very noisy! Fun and cute hotel but not ideal for work trips. Music blares until late at night, out door speakers by the pool was next to the hotel rooms, and pool bar is open late night. Staff not attentive and only way to communicate is via text.

The hotel is big on charm and decor. It was in 1937 and the guest rooms haven’t been enlarged or highly modernized. What they did get is a big dash of kitsch. Clashing wall paper, canopied beds, retro appliances, and a huge room bar (you pay per drink). We took a second floor poolside room with a balcony and loved sitting out on the wicker chairs and surveying the scene. We came for the Christmas decorations and were not disappointed. We thought coming on a Tuesday night might make for a less crowded experience. We were wrong. When we arrived at 2:30 the place was packed with afternoon Christmas tea goers. By 6 pm the tea goers had been replaced by drinkers, and by 9 pm the place was impossibly crowded with what appeared to be a mix of social media influencers and friends out for Christmas drinks. Music thumped. The party continued out by the pool and under our balcony. If this all sounds exciting to you, you have found your spot. We did eat dinner at their restaurant the Quixote. It’s beautiful but quite dark. We couldn’t see much of our food. It’s also loud—the ceilings and floors are tile. Like the lobby bar area, this restaurant was crowded. Ok, so back to the room. The bed was far too soft for my taste, but the linens were quality. The bathroom is small, but again, no one should come here expecting the Four Seasons. This place is all about atmosphere, decor, and cool photos. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and pleasant.

Clean room but a bit concerning how many non-guest are allowed through the gates of the hotel such as the pool area or rooms towards the back of the hotel. It felt unsafe at night time. Especially when staying with a child.
