Location was great, staff was friendly, hotel was clean, drinks could be better. Took 2 stars off because we always had to ask for towels or get them from the pool, so it was a nuisance because it was many of us. The first time we had housekeeping, it was like 1/2 done… Also, I thought $60/ day for parking was outrageous. We decided to stay a few days more so went to a different hotel a couple of blocks away, and parking was $30 there.

Great location between the Intl Mkt Place and the Canal. Awesome staff quick to help with your stay and exploration of the neighborhood or island. The warm saltwater pool and bar are also great and very space efficient. The aesthetics are clean and the Toto toilets are a great upgrade vs many other older hotels. Would suggest checking the door seals and sound proofing for some of the street facing suites to reduce late night loud noises if possible.

Hotel was in a great central location very close to shops and walkable to the beach. The beds were the comfiest I had ever slept in and I really enjoyed our room. The best part of the hotel were the fantastic staff who made everyday better with their kindness and humour. Especially Joseph, Kelea, Kai and Archie.

Our manager was incredibly rude. He belittled me when I spoke to him and had zero safety procedures during our tsunami warning. They also require a $500 deposit, so be prepared for that. The pool is heated, not mentioned btw. And there were children on the property.

We have stayed multiple times in bigger properties beach side and we are so glad we found this gem! It is a smaller property and newly renovated. Less times to wait for valet parking, elevator, and front desk. So convenient just a minute walk over to International Market Place. We have stayed twice at Romer House over the past few months and the staff is great and friendly, from front desk, to the Lei Stand, and the valet! Our new favorite place to stay whenever we go to Waikiki 🙂
