The STRAT has an adequate balance between amenities offered and price. Rooms were renovated and in good conditions. The pool is in the 8th floor so the access and privacy are adequate.

We got to the hotel early, not expecting to get into our room, but the tenant told us right away that we could upgrade and get it into the room now so I did the upgrade and paid it and then she claims to tell me that the room wasn’t ready waited an hour, and then she gave me a room and we walked in and the room was filthy and still had booze and somebody’s shoes and everything in the suite we left the suite and went to a different suite. Still was three hours later for the reason of why we were able to check in early because we upgraded upset that the diner in the food area of the hotel is closed by five and nothing was open during the week Either was the top pool and didn’t know that until we got there . Very unhappy and we’ve stayed there several several several times so we might be choosing another hotel for future.

We did not stay in a renovated room this time … the renovated rooms much nicer. Also we had a very noisy neighbor the first night. Had to call security. Everything else was good and fitting for the lower price we paid.

The property as a whole was pleasant. The room smelled of cannabis when we first checked in and the smell lingered the entire time. The boulevard king suite had a door to an adjoining suite, and the guests in that room were incredibly noisy. This is obviously not the fault of the property and its staff, but I found it odd that a large suite would have an adjoining room. The pool was very nice for its size and was a good fit for a young child.
