The construction was loud every day. A few wait staff was extremely nice and the rest were rude. The towel guy at the pool was a complete jerk. The rooms were outdated. The only thing that was nice on the resort was the outside view. Would not go back.

Complimentary breakfast would be a huge plus. The property could use a good freshening up, which seems to already be underway. The staff is super friendly and the location is perfect for a Kona adventure or getaway. I absolutely love the views and the history this resort offers. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Parking and bus stops are super convenient.

The views from this place are amazing! The location is excellent. You can walk to a variety of restaurants and also do some shopping. The food at Dons Mai Ta was ok. The bed was comfortable. The only negative thing that should be said is that the room and hall way have an old dirty carpet smell. We left our bedroom sliding door open the whole time we were there so it helped BUT the smell was disappointing. The building seems old and the outside walls are cracking and falling apart. They are renovating one of the buildings, hopefully they don’t put carpets in :)

This hotel is in disrepair. There are cracks, rust and peeling paint everywhere. The post on our balcony looked like one swift kick could bring it down. The staff, however, was lovely and the location was great.
