Compare Hotels with a Lazy River in Michigan

"Hotel staff especially Olivia are awesome. The property is basic and needs a good cleaning. Room was minimally comfortable. No TV or internet for 3 days and General Manager Rami never returned calls or emails. Never got the same story twice on why. Cigarette butts in the elevator, cracked tiles, peeling paint. Lots of guest complaints as I waited in the lobby. Area is convenient but after dark gets questionable. DAX from airport is across street which was super convenient. Highly disappointed in management especially when I heard there was no working front desk phone which is a safety requirement. Tornado warning and staff was unprepared which is a managers job"

"The hotel itself was amazing. Room was really clean. Promised a bay view but view was more like 50 percent parking lot. Complimentary water/wine offered at check in was a nice touch. Heated outdoor pool was a cool idea. Sauna was nice too. All in all it was a great stay!"

"Overall a great time. Eat access to the casino and right in the night life of the city. So many things to do more than just the casino. It has great views from upper floors to the Detroit river. "

"Words cannot express how horrible this hotel is. There were cats running around the building and I was on the 2nd floor, and someone bought cat food and left it open in spots around the lobby. Upon check in there was tons of trash in the hallways, you had to step over it to get to your room. Rooms outdated and filled with at least 3inches of dust. Funny thing there was a housekeeper on the floor and when I asked him about getting the trash he said thats not my job someone will be around to get it. I couldnt take it and grabbed a bag and start filling it with trash. I left the trash bag outside my room door as well as others and no one picked up the trash. Since the trash was left in bags one of the other guest walking down the hall kicked over the bags, so the trash was everywhere again, just nasty. They misled guest upon check-in. It was a holiday weekend and most guest came for that reason, but the waterpark was closed. "
