"Everything was fine, the breakfast was very nice. The Receptionists were very professional. The problem was that I checked out on 6/4/2026 and noticed an hour later that I didn't have a plastic grocery store bag full of various small items. It wasn't at my brother's house or in their car. So, I returned to the Days Inn to try to find it and the desk clerk said the room had already been cleaned, and no bag had been turned in. I remembered carrying my suitcase and backpack downstairs to the car and only loading the two items, not the small bag. The front desk receptionist was as helpful as possible and let me check the grounds, so I looked around where I had just been parked, and in the trash barrel near my room, 208, but no bag. She suggested I try calling back in a day or two, so I called a few times, but no luck. I assume it looked like a bag of trash and was tied shut, so was tossed. My brother had just passed away early that morning, so the bag inadvertently got left behind. For what it's worth, it contained: eye drops; a small magnifying mirror; a hairbrush & comb; a travel size shampoo & conditioner; 4 wash clothes; a toothbrush & holder; small tooth paste, floss and mouthwash; a bar of face soap, tweezers and a nail file. Other than that my two nights there were very nice. I would likely stay there again. Thank you."
