Great view....Great location...Underwhelming condo

The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

We have stayed at Ocean Club Condos every October for Cruising the Coast for 10+ years however, always through a private condo owner. This was our first year staying through a rental company however, I thought that with the number of properties they managed, it would be great! We arrived later on our first night, around 8 pm, walked into the condo and it was HOT....the second bedroom AC where we stay with out children was 80 degrees and the unit was set on 68. The master bedroom light and fan was broken and would not come on, and the microwave light and fan broken. I immediately contacted the emergency maintenance number provided and was told due to the event (cruising the coast) no one would be able to come that night and someone would come first thing in the morning. My kids slept on the couch and us in the master (without a fan) to stay cooler as the main AC seemed okay. At 11am the next day, I still had not heard from anyone with the property....I called for an update and was told no one had checked the unit but I could possibly move to another unit several stories up from the 2nd floor. The next morning also, my children discovered a dirty diaper in the master bedroom on the floor by the curtains which I also let the rental company know about. Long story short, later in the afternoon they offered for us to move. We told them that we were ending the stay early due to being from Pensacola and having to go back for the Hurricane. I explained I was a first responder and had to work and my father works for the power company who also had to work. The rental company seemed to care less....now I know I didn't purchase insurance but given the headache some money back for the circumstances would have been nice. In addition to all the maintenance nightmares with this unit, the property items stocked are BARE. Very little kitchen accessories; less soap and shampoo than a hotel, one roll of paper towels, two towels for each bathroom etc.
