If you're headed for the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolis from New Jersey, you may find yourself on a flight to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). This airport is located right between Dallas, and Fort Worth, and is also within a half hour's drive of Six Flags in Arlington.
When visiting Fort Worth after dark, head downtown to Sundance Square to enjoy bars, restaurants like Daddy Jacks Seafood, live theaters and streets lined with illuminated trees. During the day, visit the Fort Worth Zoo, or enjoy a museum crawl, including the Amon Carter Museum of American Art and the Kimbell Art Museum. Dallas is also home to a variety of museums and art galleries, such as the Meadow Museums. You may enjoy stretching your legs at Klyde Warren Park after a day of sightseeing.
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is surrounded by state highways, which can connect you to Fort Worth, Dallas, Arlington, as well as other cities throughout the state. If you want to visit Fort Worth, take TX-183 West to state highway 121 South. Following state highway 114 East from the airport will lead you straight to Dallas. Alternatively travelers can also take TX-360 South into Arlington.
A direct flight from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) should take less than four hours.
