Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is about 17 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, where most of the action can be found. Eastbound Interstate 90 from ORD leads to downtown Chicago, also known as the Loop. Northbound I-294 will take you to the tony north suburbs of Northbrook, and Highland Park and onward to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The airport is the northern terminus of the Blue Line train service operated by the Chicago Transit Authority. It is also served by Metra, a commuter train service, and bus services to Indiana, Wisconsin and Iowa.
