Cheap flights from Las Vegas to Miami

Las Vegas Mccarran International (LAS) is just three miles down Paradise Road from the infamous Las Vegas Strip by car, and there are public transportation options available as well (buses and shuttles). Flights usually last for just over four hours to Miami International Airport (MIA). MIA is about eight miles down Highway 836 to downtown Miami. Taxis are available just outside the airport's terminal building as are MetroBus and MetroRail stations.

Attractions and tips

Famous for its nightlife, Miami is probably the US city most likely to go all night. From cafes to bars to nightclubs, food and drink inspired by Latin flavors are available at all times, as are thumping Cuban beats that will keep you dancing until you drop. For those who want a break from their mojitos, there is the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens that takes you back into the city's past. After wandering around the estate's lovely lush gardens, visitors can go laze on the beach for a few hours before getting back to the city's crazy nightlife.

Miami's hotels are mostly found in the downtown area, close to the beach. There are also quieter options available in the surrounding area as well as on the Keys. The weather in Florida is hot and humid, so travelers are advised to dress lightly. Be warned that hurricane season lasts from June until September.
