Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is located 20 minutes south of downtown Atlanta and is accessed via I-75 and I-285. Airport exits are clearly marked with flight icons.
Flights from ATL to Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) usually last just under four hours. On arrival, you can reach the Salt Lake City center via I-80 or select from one of a number of ground transportation options including light rail and airport buses.
Visitors make Temple Square their first stop as it dominates the city with its majestic architecture.
From here, you can wander through the Red Butte Gardens, the Cathedral of the Madeline and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. For outdoor adventures, the Great Salt Lake is host to a wide variety of aquatic, hiking and biking activities.
Alpine terrain cut by steep canyons are a short distance from the downtown area. Big Cottonwood Canyon is home to a rich community of hikers and skiers, it’s ideal for outdoor adventures. The Timpanogos National Park offers breathtaking walks through ancient caves.
