"This was my first stay in a Drury property, and I was impressed. It is located downtown, and the only odd part was initially pulling in to the opening of the huge garage area, where all cars need to unload and place items on their luggage carts. That can lead to a lot of congestion there with pressure to unload your vehicle, load the cart, have someone stay with the cart, then get your vehicle out of the way of all the others behind you. And, you need to go into the lobby and check in before you can pull further into that parking garage as your card key opens the gate. Beyond that, the hotel is nicely appointed, has a very cool outside terrace area on the eighth floor, where one can sit and have drinks (of which three are actually complementary, along with hors d’oeuvres), and this is also where the regular bar and lounge and breakfast area are located. The pool area, also on the eighth floor is amazing. Half of the pool is covered, the other half wide open with a wonderful skyline view. There is a good-sized hot tub/Jacuzzi, and food can be brought to you while you’re out at the pool. The gym is nice, and there is a laundry facility as well. The room was standard size, but quite comfortable, and the only downside of our stay was constant sirens from emergency vehicles. Maybe a hospital located nearby? I was surprised how loud the sirens were even up on the 21st Floor. The included breakfast was above average, and we would absolutely stay there again given the opportunity."
