"The breakfast is great. The staff are friendly . When checking out, a person Cleaning was over the top. actually helped us out with our bags and packed them in the car for us and did not expect a tip. The only disappointment was that the pool was supposed to be up and running and wasn’t and they did not offer a discount."

"Last minute stop to sleep for few hours. Price was great, but the property definitely reflected the price. Our room was clean and the bed was super comfy. However it is very dated, and there was a lot of rust in bathroom around toilet and some in tub. Definitely could use a renovation. But for just needing to sleep a few hours, it did the job and we couldn’t be too disappointed."

"The parking was terrible. They charged us $10 for parking when we told them we had a car, yet didn't provide us with a parking space. There was a wedding and there was no place to park. The AC unit was so loud in the room that I woke up every time it kicked on thinking it was a truck going up a hill. The bed was also squeaky. AND NO REFRIDGERATOR IN THE ROOM. I stay in $400-$500 a night hotels frequently and they've all figured out people was a fridge in the room. I've been intrigued by the Cheshire for years and have had it on my list of STL places to stay. IM OVER IT. I wont be back."

"A little on the higher side for the area and amenities but it is a resort. The place was clean and the staff was very welcoming. Would stay again."
