The staff were really nice and welcoming and my room very clean, but the hotel corridors and room stank of stale takeaway food unfortunately, and it was noisy, luckily there was a fan I could put on to disguise all the coming and going from other guests. And although I’d paid for breakfast by the time I came dow at 8 there wasn’t anything left except some apples an the coffe machine, all pastries and anything else you’d expect with a continental was gone.

Budget is the key word here. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. Whilst it did represent very good value I felt the breakfast was poorly stocked. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was well located.

The hotel is located near the Southampton central railway station. The reception is open 24 hours. The staff are kind and helpful. All payments at the hotel are cashless. The free WiFi connection is fast. The room has street view. The bed is large and comfortable. The heat radiator in the room works very well.
