South Bend, Indiana, is primarily known for being the home of Notre Dame University, but there is much more to the city than just that. This town hosts several music festivals a year. The second largest shopping center in the state is Mishawaka's Grape Road/Main Street corridor. University Mall has 150 shops. Besides the large shopping centers, there are the usual big box retail shops as well as small, local shops.
College sports dominate South Bend. Notre Dame and Indiana University South Bend, Bethel College, and Holy Cross College all have college teams to root for.
