The property itself is nice. Currently it’s under construction so for instance the window in my room sounded like it was open. When I pulled back the curtains the window was covered in plastic and couldn’t see outside. Lynda at the front desk was amazing. She was so helpful and such a pleasure to talk to. So friendly and pleasant. I’d stay again just because of her.

Mildew in bath showers, sofa bed mattress was stained and thin, linens were poor quality, poor lighting in room and plastic over cracked window, furniture old. We were also not informed ahead that the hotel was undergoing a renovation. It needs to be completely gutted.

Very nice property and nice staff, but it was under renovation. That included our room’s bathroom that was half renovated meaning half new and half oldIt was very disappointing.

The property was under some type of construction. The windows were covered with plastic. Inside it was hard to tell if they were beginning a revamp or in the process. Just all around run down. The shower curtain was not properly placed, the faucet dripped, elevator often did not work. Again, the staff was extremely pleasant. Location was great to Notre Dame, its saving grace.

The hotel is in renovation and the details of the room was revealed as poorly done. The shower curtain was literally “caulked” to the wall. The shower head shot all the way across the bathroom as it was not properly installed. The tub water spout was caulked to the tub and loose. The phone didn’t work and there was no way (finally unplugged) the led lighting to sleep. We were told that we were put in a “completely finished” room on the 4th floor. On a positive note the breakfast was excellent and delicious. For the rates charged for a Notre Dame football weekend; this hotel was a disappointment and we didn’t get our money’s worth. Doubt I would stay here again. We make this trip every year or two and will make a different decision next time. Anything you might do to make adjustments to final costs would be a nice gesture! There was a lot of construction going on workers at my window then covering up with plastic bathroom door would not close light switches did not work to turn off lights WAY TOO MUCH MONEY PER NIGHT

It’s old, but fine

We’ve stayed here before for ND games, so I knew what to expect. The hotel is old and needs to be redone. Cons - Lots of chipping paint, kind of dingy feeling, more expensive for game weekends than it should be given what it is. Also there were three pieces of equipment in the fitness center and none work. Pros - close to campus and the staff is extremely nice. My kids love how the decorate the lobby/cake for home games.

This hotel needs a lot of help. The carpet was extremely dirty in our room. The shower door didn't close so water all over the bathroom floor. There is no shelves in the showet so everything sits on the shower floor. They dont clean your rooms unless requested. The tv only had 5 channels and needs to be replaced. The elevator is old and worked when it wanted. I would suggest to not waste your money on the hotel. Comfort Suites you should be ashamed of this location.

This place was absolutely disgusting. I have never stayed somewhere with such blatant disregard to cleanliness. You guys didn’t even get the old, crusty bar of soap out of the shower, but that didn’t hold a candle to the mountain of nasty old hair in the drains. For the amount of money I just spent per night my place should have been cleaned a lot better.
