Very dated, older building, not taken care of at all. They're was an obvious odor, and rooms were not very clean. This was a very expensive stay for a very substandard facility. It was very disappointing. Thus was more like a motel for over $500 a night.

The hotel is in disrepair. All area hotels jack up prices when NOTRE Dame has a home game bu t this place is ridiculous considering the current condition of the facilities.

It was like a trip back in time to 1986 as far as the decor. There was a strange smell in the hallways & paint was peeling off the wall. Our room was not cleaned for our 2nd night. The Ice Machines did not work & the Indoor Pool was closed. We were there for Notre Dame/NC State Football game & the price per night for 2 Queen Size Beds was $443.50 per night & we went through Expedia. Would never stay there again. What a ripoff!

Great stay for a ND game. Hotel is in process of renovations, but rooms are large and hotel was quiet. Staff provided excellent service and attitude. I would recommend and stay again if I'm ever in South Bend.

The hotel if fine for an ND game or stay at the college if the room is cheaper than most of those in the same area. If you are paying as much as for a room in some of the better hotels in South Bend or Granger then I would go with one of those places. Front desk was kind and helpful. As with other reviews we were not assigned the room we had chosen through Expedia. Front desk said that Expedia had coded it wrong. We ended up with 2 beds which is what we needed. If you book through a third party site, maybe call the front desk to confirm the room you have reserved. Wallpaper was torn off the walls in the back hallways, guessing they are still remodeling? Pool is closed. All in all, ok to sleep in which is basically all we did.

Place was a filthy bad place to stay. No housekeeping services. Bed not made. No towels or wash cloths. One bed had blood on the sheets. Staff was absolutely unconcerned about anything. DO NOT STAY HERE!! Hallway stunk of marijuana. Horrible experience. Hoping I didn’t bring bed bugs home.

Hotel needs some TLC. A former Hampton the hotel showed its age with minor things not working properly like the lights on the elevator call button, peeling wallpaper in a few spots, and a broken pool. Initial room assigned was dirty with Bees and kitty litter or something on and around the AC unit. After pointing this out we were moved, new room fine. Loved the convenience of the ND shuttle for game days!
