The property smelled musty and dirty. Sofa bed can almost not be considered a bed. We were only staying one night while driving through so it served it purpose with a decent price.

Bath towels felt like sand paper. In room coffee was non-existent. Six day stay, room was not consistently turned over each day. Room was not vacuumed daily. Room smelled musty and hallway smelled like a skunk had been there. We tried to rectify and desk clerk tried to check us out five days early.

Easy to get to. From the outside the property looks warm and inviting, Walked in the entrance, it was late, rang the buzzer and a woman came out from the back room. Spoke very little, I stated I had a reservation, she asked for my id. I handed it to her and then began checking me in, not sure if she didn’t want to speak. But point to what I had to initial and sign. I asked about breakfast. She mumbled under her breathe and said the times, pointing to a display sign. Once I had my key I parked and went to me room, clean poorly lite as only a few of the lamps tuned on. Main light near bathroom worked, bed comfy, living area large. And clean. Bathroom sink and faucet updated, tub/shower had gold fixtures and almost no water pressure. Was very difficult to be clean or rinsed after showering. Overall I would recommend.

Daytime Front desk manager was excellent. There was a bother some odor. We believe the odor was from the disinfectant in cleaning liquid. Also, the Body wash, shampoo and the conditioner should be a more neutral odor. Hope this helps! Thanks.

Best Western Elkhart IN

Traveling to Minnesota from Pennsylvania and stopped in Elkhart IN at Best Western for the night. Used the bathroom and guest before us left a pair of shorts hanging on the bathroom door that housekeeping never found. Bathroom floor edges were dirty. When lights were on you could see the headboards were dirty. Sheets were scratchy. Needless to say we left early the next morning and didn’t even bother to shower. Would not stay there again.
