What a beautiful and historic hotel. A luxury time machine. This hotel is very old and has some character because of this. So not everything works perfect but absolutely gorgeous and we will definitely be back.

This was a girls trip and we had a wonderful time. It was slow season so it was very peaceful. Our only disappointment was that the hotel restaurant was very limited due to kitchen renovations but we also realize that these inconveniences are necessary for future clients and can't be helped. We however did find excellent restaurants nearby.

I booked Hotel El Convento for an after cruise stay for my husband, myself, my two adult kids and their spouses and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff couldn’t wait to help us with all of our travel needs and our stay here was the highlight of a two week 50th anniversary celebration! There may be closer hotels to the pier, but this was an experience in itself.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. We were immediately greeted by a bell hopper as soon as we got out of our Uber, and they carried our luggage up to the front desk. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful, and our room was clean and spacious. The rooftop pool was right outside of our bedroom, so it got a little loud at times, but never past 10pm. Cold, bottled water is always available and plentiful on the 3rd floor, which many other hotels lack, in my experience. The hotel is extremely walkable to restaurants, shopping, and San Felipe del Morro and San Cristóbal castles—both National Historic Sites. I would absolutely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at El Convento. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with so much charm and character. The location couldn’t have been better—everything was within walking distance, and I felt very safe exploring the area. The staff was small but incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience feel even more personal. I highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting; it’s the perfect spot to enjoy both comfort and convenience.

Amazing Hotel!!! A++++ Amenities are amazing. The location was perfect. Near all shops, restaurants and bars. But at the same time, quiet zone. Very safe. If you are bringing a car, theres a valet parking right in front of hotel. Recommend. Recommend. Recommend
