The entire hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool was good size and family friendly with a kiddie pool in a separate area. Our room was immaculate. Fresh towels, soap, accessories restocked every day. Then entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very decent complimentary breakfast every day and we loved the happy hour. A nice perk to our stay.

The room was comfortable, but the staff was unhelpful when we arrived. They directed us to different doors, claiming someone would assist us at another door, but no one was there. I had to carry all my bags from the parking lot with my toddlers, which was extremely inconvenient. During our entire stay, the parking entry gate didn’t work with keys. I had to wait in 10-15 minutes to validate my parking ticket every time I left the parking lot, multiple times a day. The staff was aware of the problem but didn’t offer any solution. On the positive side, the housekeeping staff was good.

We were not happy with Expedia not making us aware of what is included in our package and what is not. I don’t like surprises. 1. Property has resort fees. Absolutely ridiculous and I was not made aware of this when booking on Expedia.ca. This went beyond my budget. 2. Parking at property - self parking available. So I thought this is included. Expedia should provide clear instructions what’s included and what’s not. Even at check in the staff at Embassy suites didn’t mention anything. Only at check out I got a bill with the parking fees. Again not in my budget. Moreover the property is over rated and expensive. Old building and ok service. Breakfast included but no value as food quality used is poor. Not a good experience. I have been with Expedia for a very long time but not happy with this trip through Expedia.
