"This is an old property, with fewer conveniences one would expect at a higher priced hotel, but it was clean, all rooms are en-suite and if you are willing to walk a couple of miles to the city centre, it is worth staying here at a price lower than the city centre. Staff is helpful and a tour company on site offers some pre-arrannged trips tp different places. "

"Friendly and helpful receptionist on arrival and also the next day. My single room was clean as was bed linen and towels. Room not large but more than adequate for an overnight stay. No dinner served in the hotel but they are happy to recommend local eateries of which there are many. The hotel does have a bar which was open for 4 hours in the evening. Breakfast was buffet style with a selection of cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast and cooked. They cook your eggs to your preference eg poached, fried and then you help yourself to hot cooked items. Breakfast staff were very welcoming. All in all an excellent hotel."

"Fantastic hotel for a low price. My son & 1 had a Sunday night stay meaning we got the price really cheap. We used the gowns & slippers, the pool, breakfast & parking. Location is perfect as it’s walkable to the main town & right on the coast."
