Simple hotel with very few amenities, but excellent for the price. Clean and tidy with compact but cosy rooms. Breakfast offering was limited and there was very little gluten free for coeliacs, so I had to eat out most mornings. Free cheese a d wine on Tuesday evenings, which was a nice touch.

Felt like 2nd class citizens as we had used hotels.com voucher our kids had bought us to book, constantly asked were we a Z hotelmember by staff. It was our 2nd stay at hotel , we had stayed when it first opened and showed r loyalty by returning, when we first stayed had been given cheese and wine in the evening which was lovely. Not entitled to this service this time as we hadn't booked direct with hotel, very disappointed being made feel like people in the cheap seats!!

Close proximity to major sights. Area very walkable. Hotel was quiet at night. Bed was hard and room was too small for 2 people. No room to open 2 suitcases. High ceilings was nice but practical space poor. Should have more hooks. Ok for 1 night but not more.

Location excellent. When we arrived in the afternoon there was laundry in the hallway on the way to our room. The rooms are small and the bathroom is just frosted glass room so minimal privacy. I think for millennials would love this place, not a Gen Xer.

Nice room, needed more air

Staff were really nice and the setup of the room was perfect for my needs. The room did get really stuffy really quickly once the AC was off and I would have preferred it if I could set it for below 19c, I was quite warm overnight. Pillows lovely but mattress a little hard. Shower lovely and shampoo smelt lush.
