We stayed three nights for our first trip to the area. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations.
The photo representation on Expedia did not reflect the condition of the property. There were signs of water damage, and the building appeared worn and in need of major repairs. The carpet was torn in places, contributing to an overall less-than-ideal environment.
The concierge on Saturday morning between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM was unprofessional and unhelpful. When I raised concerns, there was a heated exchange rather than a constructive resolution.
The hotel offers a shuttle service to the parks that is advertised as free. We were informed that sign-ups were needed the day before or at least 30 minutes before the bus departure, and that a guaranteed seating area was available if we arrived 20–30 minutes early. On arrival, the shuttle was late and fully booked, with passengers crowded into a vehicle that was not safe for its capacity. There were instances where 12 people stood, and additional guests were asked to squeeze into the bus.
I did not feel this arrangement was safe or appropriate, especially for families with children and infants. The staff member at the concierge desk insisted that the issue was not the hotel’s concern, which added to the frustration.
The room did not always provide towels, and we experienced a plumbing issue during our stay.
