Yes the room was spotlessly clean, inviting, quiet and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Compared to previous visits many years ago, I felt the hotel has lost its charm and appeal. Rooms and bar area definitely require a revamp and I have no idea why they moved the bar to far end. Totally missing out in passing trade. Breakfast portions small considering the prices. Location is great and staff very friendly.

I haven't had a great stay yet; I only clicked to rate my check-in experience, which was very good. The hotel is nice but frankly I prefer the less fancy hotels that are still very nice and have refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms, and ice machines and drink machines on most floors. i'm not sure why fancy = no refrigerator or ice machine but it's a distinct disadvantage. i'm paying for the location for this place, but if I had a choice I would never pick a fancy place without the basic amenities of less swanky hotels.

We can’t rate this highly enough! Stayed as a family of 4, the staff couldn’t do enough for us, it was great. Even this afternoon when we were popping out to sightsee before leaving, the (lovely Donegal) manager insisted on popping our bags in his office as the bellhop was busy. Customer service at its finest! Food also great - I had a curry that was the closest to an Irish curry that I have tried out of Ireland, and my husband had a huge delicious steak. Can’t wait to come back!!
